About Us
Waitersfriend was conceived on the notion that three waiters from three different backgrounds who have years of experience between them, have a story to tell on how they had all come to work together on the Northern coast of New South Wales, Australia.
From there it quickly became apparent we needed to create a website that offered news, views, reviews, and opinion on all things hospitality. Somewhere for wayward waiters, bartenders, baristas, managers, and anyone in or wanting to get into hospitality (you realise you must be crazy if that is your intent) to turn to for help and advice.
As our creative juices began to flow, we realised we knew nothing of how to bring all of this together and that we would need ourselves a web guru. So after some rather gentle persuasion Jason agreed to come aboard and manoeuvre us in the right direction.
Like all good restaurants that stand the test of time, we decided to go for a humble approach to get things started and then through organic growth, steadily evolve the site to look, feel, and act like a three hat restaurant.
So what now? We’re going to tell you some stories, share our experiences, and make our point of view be known (sometimes quite strongly but that will be passion speaking). As we learn and grow, hopefully will our readership which will allow us to bring you so much more. So get on board!
